This will cover the history of essential oils, what they are, defining the
term aromatherapy, therapeutic uses and blending.
The sense of smell is very important, and research is going on now, how the
brain responds.
With any holistic approach to health you have to be aware of the dangers as
well as the benefits.
We are having as our manual and guide Salvatore Battaglia's 'The Complete
Guide to Aromatherapy'; also 'Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit' by
Gabriel Mojay who has courses to train people in Aromatherapy for
therapeutic purposes.
Essential oils have many uses and I hope we will enjoy experimenting.
As the Group is home based numbers are limited.
The Group meets every 3rd Wednesday in the month.
We are closing down for the Summer - see you in October.
